Project: Sustainability Strategy Kick-Off

Goal

Support the leadership team (GM, Directors & Department Heads) to understand and align with the Hilton Group’s global sustainability strategy.

Flow

1-day interactive workshop with participants working sometimes in their departmental groups and at other times in mixed-function groups. Hilton Global Sustainability Strategy materials were embedded into the program content. Bilingual Japanese / English delivery.

Outcome

Improved understanding of how sustainability connects into each function of the organisation, and identification of specific actions that can be taken in each department to support the global strategy.

Participants formed peer groups at the end of the workshop to work on implementing the actions, and a review session several months after the workshop confirmed that progress was being made in a number of key areas.
